Atelier de Beauté Seminar for MUAs and Bloggers

 Hello Belles! I just wanted to post some new photos from the Atelier De Beaute - Επαγγελματικά Προϊοντα Μακιγιάζ seminar that i attended. We were shown some new techniques and also got to try their proffesional makeup products.Let me just say that I LOVE their foundations!!! I was given to try their High Definition Foundation* that can also be used with an airbrush system and it's nothing I've ever tried(plus Wayne a.k.a. Gossmakeupartist often raves about their products)!! But more on that on another post and video.

These are their pastel products that can be mixed with water for a very intense result.

This techique was so easy yet very impressive and many girls tried it after the seminar!

      and the lovely Tania Tso with the pencil technique on her eyes.I've never heard of the pencil technique before and I was very impressed by the result.

And moi!! Victoria used their blue gel eyeliner on me.I really liked the double wing she did.These gel eyeliners are waterproof and boy they really are!I didn't take me makeup off that night (shame on me!) and when I woke up this liner was still in place.

Products I'm (desperately !) trying to use up

 Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last post (well what else is new!!).In this post I'm going to show you the products that I'm currently trying to use up.Now this doesn't mean that they are bad products or that I don't like them.It's just that in most cases i had them for a long time and to be honest ..Well.. I'm kind of bored of them!!Also i have other shining brand new products  just waiting to be opened and used!

  These are the products and as you can see they all are makeup products because i find these are the hardest to use up.In more detail they are :

  Korres Watermelon Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 30 in Light.Even though it says light i find it a little dark and yellow for my NW15 skin.But i use it because when blended in I don't find it shows.It's not a bad product but when finished I won't repurchase because I have other products that I love more (Lioele's BB cream and of course Laura Mercier's TM!!).

  Neutrogena Healthy Skin in 10 Classic Ivory.Now this is a perfect match for my skin tone and I quite like the natural and bit glowy finish it gives.It's a very good drugstore foundation and some say that it's a dupe for Nars Sheer Glow.The reason that I won't repurchase is the same as above: I have other products that I love more plus I have some other foundations that I want to try (Armani Maestro I got my eyes set on you!)

  Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion in Brightening.I find that it really does moisturise my dry/dehydrated skin and makes my foundation last longer.But I have at least 3 more primers waiting to be used including the ever so famous Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (can you feel my inticipation??!!).

  Clinique Clarifying Neutral Powder in 02. I was mismatched for this powder by the sales assistant (story of my life) and it's a bit dark and yellow for my skin tone.Plus I have sooo many powders that I'm trying to use up so that I can buy the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder (it was love at first sight!) which has the most incredible glowy/satiny finish!!

  YSL Touch Eclat in Light.Now I've tried sooo hard to like this product because it's an expensive one but I just don't get it!!I know it's not meant to be used as a concealer but as a brightener but I still don't like it and I can't see what's all the hype about..

  Mac Paint Pot in Rubenesque.I have this one for over 2 years and eventhough I find it to be an excellent base for eyeshadows or on it's own , I think that the colour and finish are  a bit binding because you can't really use it with mat eyeshadows (it will change their mat finish) and you can't use it with different colours because it will change their colours (it's veeeery pigmented).But it looks AHmazing paired with Mac's Mythology (a Holy Grail combination for blue/green eyes!!!).
  Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW 15.This concealer is a big no-no for dry undereye skin!!.Even though it's very pigmented and covers really well I can't use it especially in the winter.In summer when my skin is less dry I still can't use it because I tend to get tan and then it's a little light for my skin.Plus it has SPF and boy does it show on flash photography!!!
  Mac Cream Color Base in Shell.I have it for more than 2 years and although  I like it, I'm sooo bored  of it!!!And I have Nars Multiple in CopaCabana waiting for me!!
 Stila Convertible Color in Petunia.The same goes for this one.I have other cream or liquid blushers that I can't wait to start using.


These are the products that I can't wait to use up and feature on an empties video!What are yours?? Do you get bored of makeup products easily??Do you have any back up items collecting dust while waiting for their turn??

Barbie pink nails!!

 Bonjour Belles!This is just a quick post about my nails du jour!At this point i want a little break from all the dark and vampy colours so i opted for the  brightest baby pink nail varnish in my collection a.k.a. OPI's Mod about you!

                  3 coats of Mod about you + Seche Vite top coat = Barbie pink perfection!


Can you tell that i'm over winter and i'm already dreaming of  summer?? :)

The GBBs meeting in Thessaloniki ♡

  It was a perfect Sunday morning with all the Greek Beauty Bloggers from Thessaloniki and Central Macedonia (34 blogs!!!)  gathered up at the Les Lazaristes Hotel.Demi was waiting for us with a warm smile and the GBB members broοch!

 This years meeting was kindly sponsored by L'oreal Paris, Loisir,Oxette, Inglot and Katerina Rouka the owner of BeautyStore!! They all had some lovely goody bags ready for us!
